ambergris became the 100th member with at least 100 posts. congrats to GF, it was a long hard road but we got there, on to 200 with 200

Temporary Gmail Ban |

I've had to temporarily ban all gmail email accounts from being used in new registrations. If you are currently using gmail for your account, you don't have to worry but if you are trying to switch your email address to your gmail account, it won't work.
Over the past week or so we have had a few people use gmail has their main email source to create about 200 total accounts using proxies. Hoping the useless registrations will calm down I've banned gmail accounts for the next 7 days. It can be shortened or increased depending on the results.

Yesterday GF hit a dozen thousand, or 12,000 gamers. Not that big of a deal seeing we've had a spark in the rate of member registration over the past few months. And I thought I'd give you guys a few interesting member stats:
- Total Gamers: 12,000+ (dozen thousand)
- Registered users: 6,300+
- Users awaiting email confirmation: 4,700
- Banned users: 988
- Staff members: 18
Registered members are who have confirmed their email addresses and have passed through the anti-bot registration.

View up to a 100 Posts Per Page |

Thanks to jak for indirectly reminding me of this, since we are on a new server, it is able to handle more load. So the maximum amount of posts displayed per page (in threads) is now 100.
The default is still 10, you can manually set it to a 100. Other choices go from 5-90 with intervals of 10 between 10-90.
