Before the Month of March ends, We will have at least two new moderators for Gamers Forum. This is open for all staff members that do not have mod powers as well (gfx pros + Game reviewers).
There are a few restrictions. If you have less than 50 posts or have not been a member for more than 30 days you cannot apply. If you have more than 4 Infraction Points on your account, you are also forbidden to apply. (Note that it's 4 points, and not 4 infractions)

The IRC channel can get out of hand at times so we've decided to make a few rules that everyone must follow when in the GF IRC channel.
Here are the rules, they are subject to change at any time, you are responsible for knowing them:
- Excessive spamming will mostly be handled by SpamServ, but in some cases, a channel operator may step in and put a stop to the spam. This could mean a kick or a ban from the channel.

I know you've all been dying to know who won that poll...I just delyed this this thread for extra suspense.
But the Gamers Forum Gamer of the Year for 2009 is LemonRising. She has shown great potential and she has won the heart of 48.72% of the voters and became GOTY. She is the the 3rd Annual GOTY who is looking to break the curse of the disappearing GOTY.

Users that have been a member for less than 24 hours with less than 10 posts have a lot of restrictions. This is just another. I just banned a load of people for spamming current member's inboxes. From now on, new registrations will no longer be able to send any kind of PMs.

The move is scheduled to take place tomorrow. The forum is be put into maintenance during the transfer. It can take several hours so please be patient.

This is the official 11,000th thread of Gamers Forum. Took less than 3 and a half years to get here. I remember when we had more threads than members...(we still do if you count active gamers).
