through 32 team games he was at 44 or 5th most all time, Babe Ruth had 49 through 32 games in 1927(that year he finished with 164 or 17th best). FYI the all time record is Hack Wilson with 191 in 1930

I think he has a chance at the record

I find that to be way to hard.
If he is going to get it it will be around 195-200

he is just hot now.

ESPN is just going by stats he has already done, which is why if you look at the season predictions after 1 gm several are predicted for 162 hr- 300+ rbi's...It'll play itself out and I think he'll come no where near the record, but it certainly would be entertaining to see a non-juiced player that is also young break a nearly 80 year old record.

Seems like there is someone in every sport right now testing positive for something.

baseball-nascar-tennis etc

although rbi's in 3 straight he still only has 5 in the past 14 games. ESPN still has him on pace for 178 though

his season projections are now at 158, getting closer to my vote group :). He has even lost his commanding lead, he is tied with Jason Bay atm at 55.

What would you do if the internet crashed for good? Would you get used to life with less communication and less "being connected" or would you be pretty bummed for the rest of your life?

This is assuming it was not fixed. Perhaps some largescale EMP attack or something that crippled it for the next 50+ years or so.
