American ps3

Hi guys

My dad is stopping over in america and he is (hopefully) going to pick me up a 120gb ps3 slim.

I have a question regarding this, i know that the ps3 slim has universal voltage and that games are also universal, my only problem is that america uses ntsc and here in australia we use Pal. Are modern digital tv's compatible with both of these?? or will i just have to buy an australian ps3 slim??

yeah, the PS3 can be config'd to output either PAL or NTSC (I'm pretty sure.) You should be fine!

I have a PAL Xbox 360, some of my friends use NTSC (Saudi Arabia has both don't know why) and they don't have problems playing their Xbox on my TV
