View Full Version : Wow, Alvin and the chipmunks

When I first saw the previews for this I thought it looked like, really bad. But eventually they kind of grew on me and I ended up deciding it was ok to sit through. I didn't think it'd be that great or anything. But alvin and the chipmunks has ended up being one of the biggest suprises in a very long time for me I actually LOVED it. From the very beggining with the "bad day" opening I was just so into it. The music rocked and the movie intro itself was just so cute, the chipmunks looked adorable!!, I grew up watching alvin and the chipmunks a lot and I really think they captured each of their personalities well, it just put a big smile on my face throughout and there were a couple of "awwwww" moments like when theodore goes to sleep with dave, I feel like having a chipmunks marathon now.... Such a cute movie, huge suprise and one of my new faves of 2008

This has gotten extremely off topic, lol.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I wanted to.
I might just on your suggestion because I haven't heard about it from anyone else.

I am with iceCold in the fact that, I grew up with the chimpmunks on my TV every saturday morning and I've gotta say, I am looking forward to seeing this before I go back to Mosul.

it was a genuinly good movie. i enjoyed most of the music and the chipmunks looked really good. probably wont watch it again though lol

I watched the movie a little while back. Overall, it was ok. Way too predictable though and I didn't like the ending much. The chipmunks singing was cool but I bet it would get annoying after a while.
