Server IP Issue

As of a few minutes ago - 2 AM July 10th 2008. the IP Address for all of the GF Servers has changed. It was completely unexpected and I am trying to get the old IP Address back and in the mean time no one will be able to access the GF servers.

More information will be posted here as this issue progresses.

Sorry for people that actually use our servers, but this was not expected.

Note: Servers were down, they are brought back up on a separate IP Address. Feel free to search it in steam, TS, or BF2 but also know that the IP may be temporary.

Just a question, where is the server located so I know how good my ping will be.... Just a state would be fine, I don't need the city or anything.

yea its in NYC - in my house, like 6 inches from my usual computer :)

and about the server IP issue, I highly doubt I will be able to fix it so I am trying to do something else right now. New threads will go up in all the servers board introducing the new IP by tomorrow or Saturday If I cannot fix this issue by then.

I am sorry once again but I got 3 IMs from people that use our CS server for practice. I gave them the new IP and if anyone here wants it I can PM it to you privately. I do not want to go public with this yet because again, that could be just a temporary IP.

The Server's Temporary IP Addresses will be announced tomorrow. It may become permanent if I cannot find a way to change the DNS settings of my server to use a domain instead of an IP.
