Favorite Strategy Game

What is your favorite Strategy Game?

For me its a tie between Civilization III and Age of Empires II, i dont like Civ IV that much, i have it, dont like it, and AOE III i havent played yet.

i have a few favorites. i personally like teh Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2, and Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns. both are pretty good. i like the simplicity of C&C:RA2 (no two mouse click interface) and the everything that can be done in SWGB:CC (like most Stratagy games, build farms, harvest ore and stuff like that). Advance Wars 2 for GBA's ok, but the first two are my favorite by far.

oh yea star wars, i've played that at my cousins house, its ok, i wouldnt call it one of my top games, but it was pretty interesting, never played command and conquer, i think i have it lol

its really fun. i like teh soviet side for some very important reasons.
1 - you get to invade and conquer USA
2 - you gather more money witha miner that has a gun
3 - faster build-up and cheaper to maintain (army)

sounds fun, also sounds the same as every other strategy game lol, they are all the same believe it or not, try to build a good community or country and invade others and kill them and get money or points lol, i may get it if i ever have time, my time just tightened up lol, school problems

lol, yea, your right about the RTS games. and schools sucks as well ;D

i guess age of empires for me too, i've played the third one, awesome graphics, i dont own it though, but its a great game, way better than age of mythology

C&C!+AOE2 TC ;) are my favourties for a strategy game also seadler (i hope it will write so^^)

i am not a big strategy game fan, but if i have to pick its age of empires III since its the only one i played :P

C n C all the way. Althoug Age of Empires is a close second with Civilization bring it up the rear.

But C n C is the way forward and will dominate the games market for years I think.

dont get too hooked and waste all your times, strategy cames are always addicting, since you get to strategize and get the feeling of control over something

hmm fav strategy game... would have to be the command & conquer series sinse the first strategy game i got hooked on was command & conquer: Red Alert. C & C 3 was an amazing addition to the series :p.

Rome Total War seemed interesting but after building everything and having a few battles i got bored of it lol.

I played Command&Conquer:Tiberium Wars but i got bored of it after a while , Rise of Nations and its expansion packs are my favorite Strategy now.

Yeah Star Wars was one of my favorites.
But im going to have to say StarCraft/Brood War hands down;-)
I remember waiting for it to be released and going to get it the day it came out.
damn I LOVE that game and I can't wait for the second one to come out!!
