1. How would you describe the gamer subculture using twenty-five words or less?

Someone of "gamer subculture" is someone whose hobbies include playing video games and discussing or playing video games with others.


2. How long have you been involved in the gamer subculture?

I've played video games since I was three years old but wouldn't say I was "involved in the gamer subculture" until I was about seven or eight when I play games extensively in my own time and with friends. I'm twenty-one now, so that makes my time as a solid "gamer" to be about 14 years.


3. How many hours per week would you be playing video games?

"would you" or "do you"? "Would you" based on what conditions? Given my current lifestyle, I play about 16 hours of video games a week.


4. What genres of video games do you normally play? (Choose up to three)

RPGs, RTSs, and FPSs.

Wii, PS3.


6. What games do you play most often? (Choose up to three)

League of Legends, Super Smash Brothers Brawl

again, "would"? I buy about one new game every other month.

about 30

Sega Genesis

Yes


12. What are the five characteristics that you associate most with
gamers?

I can't answer this question because I don't feel there are any qualities prevelent enough over all gamers that gamers necessarily share some common quality for playing video games. Do all movie-goers have something so frequently in common aside from liking movies?


13. What would you say are the two least attractive points you associate with the gamer subculture?

"Hermitism" (living like a shut in) and immaturity/social ineptness due to being a hermit.
