Official Game Night

I was wondering if many members here would be interested in an official game night. We could hold it every weekend and play one or two games that enough people have and are interested in playing.

We could also put the GF CS servers to use this way as well. (Linux would like that)

But they games we play can be different. Mostly PC game, but maybe a few Xbox events as well.

If you are interested please make a post and tell us the games you would love to play with fellow GF members. For example I would love to play the following (Just a few that I can think of right now):

CS/CS:S

Civ3
Guild Wars

Xbox

Modern Warfare2

Halo Wars

This is a good idea :) If you were to make a game night I'd love for it to be on Thursday... I feel like real life would pull me away from the game night too often if it were on Friday or Saturday ;)

I started a similar but less organized thread not too long ago that reveals a bit of what people play. Here's some copy pasta of what I plopped into that earlier thread:

Homeworld (one, not two. Could get two, maybe.)

Looks like I might have to cave and buy myself Counter Strike after all if this picks up...

I should not that I've been having trouble playing some online games because of a shoddy internet connection. Warcraft 3, diablo, and probably starcraft are all fine though.

The CS 1.6 Server for GF is having issues thanks to the latest steam update but I'm still able to play. Can't say if we'll be able to use our server though.

And I'm able to play l4d, l4d2, css, killing floor.

I could even play AOE II with Diligence if I can find my game again - Haven't played the game in years.

This sounds great

i have a whole bunch of games that can be played online against or in co-op, a fair few already mentioned in this post

i think it's a decent idea to try and pool ppl to maybe hook up and have fun, and i'd certainly be up for it :)

I would need to install them again. If the plans for steam for mac come true in April I hope to have L4D2 soon after it launches.
