I rarely have trouble doing things on the forum with my phone. Every once in a while something strange will happen, but that's probably because its an older phone. Probably tike to upgrade. This phone no longer receives system updates.

Ahh home for Thanksgiving and the first thing I get to do is install Ubuntu on my mother's netbook. Sound easy? When I try to do it via USB drive it won't recognize the drive, even though it is recognized on my father's windows laptop, my laptop and a really old junky desktop (My mother uses the netbook because it is faster and has Windows 7). No way to install it from CD since we don't have any external CD drives. Next I try to download the Wubi installer for it. Every time I try to run that program it crashes. Wondering what the hell is going on and I am getting really frustrated. Wonder if throwing it across the room will help...

Then I finally realized I am trying to install a 64 bit operating system on a 32 bit machine. Have 911 on standby, I might facepalm myself so hard I will need emergency care...

I believe I may give up on this. I bet it has some protection so it doesn't boot anything but Windows....

You could try taking the hard drive out of your moms laptop and put it into one that has a CD drive.

Lol Why are you even attempting to put it on your Mom's computer anyways? Something tells me she probably doesn't care and probably wouldn't even notice :P
