Graphic programs tutorial thread

There desperately needed to be a thread for this. Im learning these programs myself. So I do not have any tutorials for Gimp, or even fireworks. If you have any to add please post on any graphic program. Thanks.

This isn't a tutorial site but it has brushes and patterns, basic, but basic can be useful.

Yay!! This could be of great help. I'm trying to figure out how to edit a scanned picture and make it a sig. Kinda hard considering A- the scanner is broken, so shall have to use the school one. and B- i can't find photoshop anymore. thoough i know i have it. :S
