Stuff that makes you nostalgia
So, what makes you nostalgia?
For me, Pokemon is probably the ultimate nostalgia, especially japanese pokemon cards from the first 3 sets. The only game i basically played growing up was Pokemon. I played some others, but Pokemon is the main one. The card game, the first 2 generations of games, and the first 3 seasons are super nostalgia. but I just played through HeartGold and I have season 1 on dvd, so its not as much as it used to be.
There's also Zoids, medabots, and yugioh, which all make me miss my summer camp and middle school years. (lolIlyich) For some reason, the early Magic the Gathering sets make me nostalgia, but for what? I didn't play the game when it came out....
Freshmen and Sophomore year in high school I don't care much about, the only thing I really ever "nostalgia" about were the sadd late night parties, they went from like 7 pm til 1 am and it was basically a dance, 2 open gyms, free food + drink, contests, open swim, etc. I think they even gave haircuts sometimes. Whenever I listen to system of a down's BYOB I think of that time.
junior year was all-around great. Whenever I hear certain songs by Stone Sour it makes me miss my ex (shes cool, and we're still friends but I haven't seen her in ages) and makes me want to watch the Alien movies. I kinda miss my senior year too, but nothing really triggers it for me.
I could go into college, but that's a whole 'nother story. Also cuz it doesn't really count
recap:
Pokemon
Zoids
Medabots
Yugioh
System of a Down "BYOB"
certain songs from Stone Sour's Come What(ever)may album
