yeah, quite happily playing most games on high settings running only 4gb ram and an old ATI Radeon 4850 graphics card

I'm running A really old I5 card.

i5 750, one of the first of the i5 series. I play games perfectly, I can every game on ultra that I've tried. Apart from BF4, I can only run on Medium, but that's from my GPU not my CPU. CPU really doesn't make a huge difference in gaming.

I really hope my card latest long which it probaly won't every 1 is telling me Asus isn't as trustworthy and long lasting if it fails probaly will get a msi card

I've always went with Evga or XFX for graphic cards, I prefer Evga. I've never had one fail on me, I've always upgraded before one went bad.
