Save the Krogan race?

Is there any way to side with Wrex regarding the cure for the genophage? I didn't have Wrex in my party at the time but I saw there was a Krogan in the lab named Doctor something, if you have Wrex in your party is there dialogue with him?

You need to have either high enough charm or intimidate. I was so mad when I couldn't save him. He's my favorite character by far. Dumb hoe Ashley just HAD to shoot him, ugh.

thats very spoilierish. Ive arleady been spoiled by that part atleast. But i have a question is that a very big main part of the story cus the only part i read was:

and then i stopped reading. So is that part of the plot too important. And please dont spoil me.

no you cant and i played through mass effect 5 times and i have 1000/1000 gamer score lol so no u cant save the krogans cos they would kinda takeover the galaxy
