Xbox still worth it?

Is the xbox even still worth getting? I know it's outdated now basically, but always thought of getting one. Xbox360 or PS3 is out the question for me atm, but was just wondering if there were any popular games out there that are still played online with the xbox.

Well if there is one game out there that is still being played online it's gotta be Halo 2. But with Halo 3 around I doubt many people do actually still play it.

It's still worth it, as for Halo 2, in the last 24 hours there was 25k, Xbox would be a viable option . Also why not PS2? Reason I bring this up as it still is supported and will for 2 or so more years + it's only 129+ most games of all last gen.

I'd say it's still worth to get. it has more games than PS3. Many of my favorite games are becoming a bit more Xbox-sided. For the Online play, the 360 wins hands down. If you have a Xbox 360, it is much easier to find people willing to play and of course many more games to choose from right now.
I got my xbox 360 elite about a year ago at dealstudio, it's still avaiable there, you can try to search.

Well, you've already made up your mind to buy a 360 but, had you still been undecided, I would have said to go with a PS2 if you were gonna stick with last gen. Mostly because the PS2 library > all, and new games are still comming out for that little system.

Yeah I used to have a PS2, burned out because it was literally on 24/7 being played by either me or my bro.
