Arcade or elite? whats the point?
I have just broken my x-box 360, it was arcade version, when getting a new one, is there much point in getting the elite etc if i only use it to play with mates or online casually, not hardcore!

The big draw for the elite is that it has HDMI support so if you have a HDTV you might want an elite but if not then I would say don't bother.

hmm i do have HD, i am not a fussy gamer tho haha, i will have a look at the packages, i spose it is about the best deals i can get as well. Just wasnt sure what advantages there were

Yeah HDMI support and the big hard drive are the two advantages I know of. It does not come with a HDMI cord though so make sure you add that on to your price. For the 360 I don't think HD is that big a deal since its not like it has a blue ray player in it.

awsome! good point about the blu-ray! thanks for that mate

You should just get a PS3 to be honest, especially if your concerned about money, you don't have to pay $50 a year just to play online. And all of the PS3 models come with HDMI and a hard drive. I'm not a Sony fanboy either, I play PC games. But, if you want the most bang for your buck, go with the PS3...

Money isnt the biggy (haha i think im a millionaire haha, naa just got some set aside for it). The thing with the PS3 is the tiny controllers, im 6'5, size 12 feet and have big hands haha the PS3 is itsy bitsy compared to x-box haha random reason, i know

If you are indifferent to buying games and the such then Arcade would be good enough for you
