the comics are funny, but the first one makes no sense as I cant think of a way Blizzard has ever made money from in game items.

While Dialbo2 was one of those rare games to have a large community buying and selling game items for real world cash, it was all done at your own risk outside of the TOS.

It's talking about the auction place thing, where you can sell things for actual cash in Diablo 3. Blizzard will, of course, take a "transaction fee" for all items...
