    Default Fallout 3 Signature Tutorial

Here is my...6th tutorial. I haven't posted one in awhile, so I thought I should make one.
This one is an image this time. I watermarked, to make it so no one can steal it. If you can't see the image, I also have a .txt version of it.

And here is the text version if you prefer or can't see the image:

Start a new image. My size will be 330x95 pxl. Fill it with any color, doesn't really matter. If you would like, pick a color from your render.

Paste your render. This tutorial works best with Grungy Renders.

Use the eyedropper tool to select a bright color and a dark color from your render.
Goto Layer > New Fill Layer > Gradient...
Change the type of gradient to the one with your two colors, set to Radial, and 180 degrees. And if the dark color you have chosen isn't the outer color, reverse it.

Now, take out some grunge brushes. Not tech ones, grunge. You can get some at Deviant Art or use the ones your version of Photoshop comes with, like I did. Brush them on using the brighter of your 2 colors, but don't over do it.

Duplicate your render layer 4 seperate times, so you have 5 of them. For only 4 of those 5, Use your smudge brush with varied grunge brushes and Chalk brushes while changing the settings of them. Change those to Soft Light. Make sure your un-smudged render is on top of them.

Ctrl-Shift-N for a new layer. Goto Image > Apply Image. Now goto Filter > Other > High Pass. Use Default Settings. Change this layer to Overlay.

Ctrl-Shirt-N a new layer, and goto Image > Apply Image. Filter > Distort > Displace with default settings and choose some random PSD file you have floating around. The more effects it has, the better the effect you make looks. Once you do that, Filter > Distort > Ocean Ripple. Set this layer to Soft Light.

Now we will add some Gradient Maps and some Photo Filters. I added the Black and White Gradient Map and set on Luminosity, the Warming 85 Photo Filter, the Underwater Photo Filter, and a Orange and Purple Gradient Map set to Soft Light.

Ctrl-Shift-N for a new layer. Goto Image > Apply Image. Now goto Filter > Other > High Pass. Use Default Settings. Change this layer to Overlay. Change the opacity to 50%

Ctrl-Shift-N a new layer and goto Image > Apply Image. Now goto Filter > Render > Lighting Effects and mess with the settings until you get something you like. Change this layer to Soft Light and to 30% opacity.

Add any extra effects you want, like I went back and re-did step 7 and erased what didn't look good.

Add some text and a border and you're done!
