I wasn't expecting much, considering it's free to play :P But the scale of it is impressive. It's disappointing in the sense that there's not a lot of action, but it makes up for it in the amount of strategy that's involved. The country is ran by players, with no NPCs involved, which I think is great. Every town in the countries are owned by players, with villages within the town/region also being owned by players.

I quite like it. If you want the typical RTS action though I suggest buying Stronghold 3.

haha the first Stronghold i played was Crusader. Still remember the day when i borrowed the game from my neighbour. fist time when i installed i didnt know what the hell am installing. And than it was like WOOOW. That was 6 years ago (i think... not shure). Anyway i still have the game and yes i still play it occasionaly with my dad over LAN. and i gathha say he is much better than me in that game. Iam not ashamed to admit that my dad can beat me in computer game.

Lol I remember playing the defense missions where you have to defend the castle. That was pretty cool!
