looks pretty good, you can run almost anything nowadays, but I'd suggest a bit more power in your PSU to make sure you have enough for everything including a cd drive and the Fans in your case, how much is that costing you?

That will run every game out on max graphics. You'll be fine till around 2012, unless there's a big jump in technology from now to then. Well, except the CPU, but it's still good enough to play games fine now days.

technology jumps big time every year...2012 is a long time from now, we'll be on multicore computers which has 8 cores - the common these days are 2-4 cores - and the parts in the future will get cheaper and cheaper because of mass production, you can see that now even with the declining economy :D Can't wait for it to get fixed! lol...i need a new hard drive

that's pretty good for what you got, i built a slightly weaker pc in terms of graphics, less than a year ago and it cost me around the same - the monitor added another $150

Psh..one screen.
I got Dual Monitor!
Lol.
2 17" screens, pretty old ones though.

That will run a lot of new games, might even run Crysis depending on the settings.
Only thing I can say is go for the Quad Core!
