Has anyone played this yet?

This is one of my favorite games. I got it a bit before christmas, so I've slowly been playing it. The game is huge. There's over 100 locations to discover and relatively 50 or so quests to do. It definitely takes times to complete and I can't wait to get it done C:

I haven't played any of the other fallouts, but I presume they're good too? I'd love to hear about 'em.

I haven't gotten the chance, I think I'll get it later this month. Sucks the DLC will be 360 exclusive

Yeah, a buddy of mine has it and we both find it quite fun but frustrating at times. We got impatient and used the god mode cheat to run through the game lol.

Yeah, I definitely know how frustrating it can be.
I'm on level 20, the highest level, right now, but I still have so much to do and discover in the game.

What I like about it so much is the fact that I haven't really had to look at any guides or use any cheats to help me beat the game :]

Ya, I got it, I don't think there are enough quests. I've practically finished them all fairly quickly. There i a lot of back story to it also, so i gets annoying. But its still pretty good. Oh and the ending is terrible.

Yeah, my dad went and finished the main quest and then it was over.
So he had to reload a couple saves BEFORE he finished.
That's probably the stupidest part, it doesn't even make sense.

Ive got Fallout 3 for ps3 and all the hype about it gave me really high expcetations but its just as big as oblivion maybe a bit bigger map wise but loads less quests then oblivion but its pretty good either way they ****ed ending good tho lol

I'll be honest I love the game, It is really slow at times and you tend to get turned around easy but other than really having to use your skills I really like the game. I have it for 360.

It's cool how you can appropriate your skill points, so you can master is small guns, explosives, big guns, or hand to hand combat :]

Yah i love it, and how you can choose headshots, probably one of the better games as far as exploding heads go...lol

Finished the story in about 16 hours without doing too many sidequests, think might go back and do a lot more of them though.

I enjoyed it overall, it struck me as a cross between Oblivion and Bioshock.

welll I love fallout 1,2 tactics... the sad thing is i have fallout 3 and cant play it... i have been trying to sell it... i didnt read up on the specs till i had opened it... so i could not talk it back... Sometimes i really do hate buying a computer... i think its always better to build your own pc....

The game was solid. Though the atmosphere was a bit depressing...but what can ya expect? The NPCs lived in a post-nuclear trash world! LOL

What I didn't like was the level cap.

haha i blew it up as soon as i could everyone there was rude to me. plus i had the black widow perk and i go the guy to give me 500 more bottlecaps. girls rule :]

I actually really liked it but the story was waaaaay to short and the quest are to easy and not as much as I thought thered be. But the weapon selection is cool and theres alot of locations to visit

This is one of the best games of this generation, At least on the 360. On my first play trough I got over 40 hours of play and missed a lot of side missions. On my current play trough I'm near 40 hours of play and haven't even started the main mission yet. Excellent game.

I think it has gotten better with the new expantions coming out. And like i said earlier in the tread how it the main quest line isnt long enough. They are coming out with an expantion that extends it. Also, it raises ur level cap to 30 which is great.

This game is buggy as all HELL! Even the patch couldn't fix my issue after 30+ hrs on the game. :( :( :(

I played part of a friends saved game... and i got angry in all of 5 seconds... so i put it down an swore I'd never buy it. I haven't and I'm glad.

Also, the PC version is the best because of the ridiculous amount of mods available, and how extremely fun they are. Ever wanted to kill those little punks in Little Lamplight? Now you can! haha

You can't kill them in the 360 version? I thought you could since you can take them as slaves. Oh, and for whoever wanted the review done on Fallout 3, it's done if you want to see it.

Nope, you can't kill them in either version, PC or Xbox 360. Its just that for the PC you can download a mod which allows you to kill children directly with a weapon.

Lol, EVIL! I forgot, you can't kill any children. I remember chasing one for a while trying to kill him for some reason.
