Softball conditioning began yesterday, but after today, I can hardly even move. My knees lock everytime I step and I feel like a drunkard running around, lol.

I'm planning on taking this time to lose some weight though, so I'm pretty excited about that. Wish me luck :]

It's gonna go by so fast though, and it's my senior year! Uh, it's gonne suck :[

Anyone else conditioning for spring sports or in a winter sport now?

good luck :D

I was supposed to join my school's baseball team (last year too) but not sure if I'll have the time. I love baseball but education comes first!! lol...and the fact that I'm taking 6 classes again is stopping me.

A few weeks ago my right knee kept locking up at home, I don't know why, lasted only a day but it was stupid, annoying, thought I was gonna have to cut my leg off lol

good luck with volleyball :D I like playing it whenever I get the chance

Volleyball? SOFTBALL LINUX! lol.
I'm not sure if I want to play in college yet because I don't know what the work load will be like. I don't want to get behind on my schooling :[

right softball...i was thinking softball but fingers wrote volleyball lol - I've been working all day so I'm kinda mind uh...tired

I have a friend in my school's lacrosse team with a 3.9 GPA - he missed like 15 days of classes last term lol, that's the good thing about being on a team in college but he had to make up all his work by the end of the term and he was REALLY stressed out lol, but still told me he wouldn't change it for the world

it really depends on what really works for you, I personally don't think I'll be able to focus since I do have a lot of work outside of school and whatnot

if you plan things out, you won't get behind, my friend didn't have anything else besides school, no job, and he lived on campus so it was right there for him lol

That's one of the problems too, what if I need a job?
I virtually have no money now, lol.

My dad wants me to do softball so bad, but I know my life will just be school and softball.
I'mv ery conflicted right now :[

The first day of track is always so horrible. x.x
Conditioning and such.. Lol.
Last year, I couldn't walk for a week. xD
I was clinging to the wall at home. lol.
So I'll wanna chop my legs off in March, too. @.@

I dunno anything about how much it could interfere with schooling because I'm only in Middle School, but I know what you mean when you say you can't walk. In March, even though I throw shot, they make us condition for like 2 weeks. And after that...I dunno what to think, I just can't walk straight. Lol

Good luck... I don't really play sports. But marching band is pretty athletic. That won't start back until summer though.

Gl with that.
I feel your pain.
Swimming conditioning is a pain too.
I wanna chop all my limbs off after practice.

Swimming, hockey, and soccer have to have some of the most strenuous conditioning/practices ever.
At least, from what I've seen and heard.

Kudos to you guys, because those are pretty tough :]

Just got back from conditioning tonight. We did more agility and ran the mile again. Boy do I suck at running the mile, lol.

I used to be on the Swim Team, lol.
I quit after 4 years.
Coaches were wayyy too rough.

Nada.
I've been distorting my feet with new ski boots. (THEY HURT!)

I don't play spring sports. Or basketball. I kill myself enough in winter.
