the higher amount is needed because the value of the dollar has decreased over the past years, thats why you see so much stuff go up in price, eggs that I buy at the local super market doubled in price in the past 4 or so years...ridiculous lol

and about his daughters, the last child of a president to go to a public school was Amy Carter and I believe that all the funds for a president's children education comes from their own pay, not tax payers money - that's why it says "The Obamas will pay..." and not "taxpayer money goes to...."

Since 2000, the President's Salary rose from $200,000 to $400,000, and you can't expect them to save all their money, they pay taxes too and they have to pay for their children's education

and back to the inauguration. I doubt that's tax payer money as well, most likely donations and you know people who go to see the inauguration in person has to pay for a ticket right? and I think it's already sold out so they are just using the money from that
