The other topic just gave me an idea ;D.

My question is, would you ever choose money over friends?

KittyCat72

That's just what I was thinking of...you beat me to it. Oh well.
Back to topic.
It depends, how much money?!

Well, over a million, but just a general wise question, meaning, doesn't matter how much money, let's just say a lot.

But would you still choose money over friends?

I'd never, no matter how much the amount was.

I was only kidding, I'd choose friends. Unless I could choose money and then buy my friends back. Hmmmmmmmmm..........

True, but good luck with that :/...Don't you think they'd get mad at you for choosing money over them, and then trying to BUY them back ?! :P.

Definetly not. I'm really friendly and generous when I have the money. The thought of me doing that will be covered with my kind thought of buying them gifts.

Only one downside, I don't get money very often. I wonder if i can find this deal anywhere. Well, for buying friends there's only one place to look....... ebay.

LiNuX
03-24-2007, 12:16 PM
depends on which one is more fun, well with money, i can lose my old friends, then use the money to give out free stuff and make new friends, win-win situation lol :) ebay doesnt have a category for friends lol, that would be kinda scary.

KittyCat72
03-24-2007, 12:17 PM
It may not be under friends, did you check dolls?

Friends over Money , Money cant buy true friends or happiness.

KittyCat72
03-24-2007, 12:39 PM
I guess that's true. But I would like to have the money anyways.

Yeah but those friends would be just your friend for your money...The old friends you had, are the true ones :).
And what jason said, Money can't buy friends or happiness.

it can buy happiness for me somtimes lol, i dont know im just having some problems lately, making my head all screwey

KittyCat72
03-24-2007, 07:36 PM
What if I choose money, then pay you half of it to get my old friends vack. Then it would be a win-win situation.
Or..........
You could make friends before you tell them you have money, that way they would be real freinds and you could share the money. They wouldn't be completely dependent upon it, they'd be your friends.

If I had no friends, then give me the money, but since I do... I suppose I would choose them. It is a close call though.

Hehe, just kidding :)

defintly not..friends bring you more then the money...the life is soo hard and with friends u can life here in the world.

KittyCat72
03-25-2007, 06:46 PM
Now this is getting complicated...... But I think what we're all trying to say is that we want both.

Look at it this way, money can be gone in a second, friends can be gone for a lifetime. I'll leave it at that.

KittyCat72
03-29-2007, 04:01 PM
Not necessarily, what if you are conservative with the money? And all of your friends die in an explosion?

Drake14
03-31-2007, 10:43 PM
definitely friends. Because without friends you have no one to borrow money from ;D

KittyCat72
04-02-2007, 11:29 AM
This question is really getting confusing. I'm just going to choose friends........ you can't put a price on friendship. Unless it's a bad friendship............

LiNuX
04-02-2007, 02:05 PM
bad friendship isnt friendship at all, lesson of life

KittyCat72
04-02-2007, 02:59 PM
It could be a regular friendship gone bad. And you just didn't want to end it yet because you thought there was hope.

candylove15
04-05-2007, 08:02 AM
Friends of course what's money if nobody wanna talk to you?
But if friends or family (that's a little harder to choose)... =/

KittyCat72
04-05-2007, 04:09 PM
Choose friends, then say that your family members are also your friends. There are always little ways like that to get both of the things you want. That's what makes all of this so confusing and complicated.

Money buys friends, people are greedy and will do anything for it, so you could take the money then pay people to be your "friends". Although doing this defies to whole point of friendship and unless you erase your memory of the payment then that friendship will suck.

I have to repost here too.
I can't remember exactly what I said.

Are we allowed to choose money, spend most of it, and return the rest to get our friends back?

souljaa
04-15-2007, 12:48 PM
Haha no, Okay, let's say, 36 Million Dollars, there, that's a specific amount.

KittyCat72
05-09-2007, 06:53 PM
Make that billion and we got a deal! Lol, only kidding. :D But still... that's a lot of money. It's very tempting.

LiNuX
05-09-2007, 08:44 PM
anything good is tempting - forbidden fruit is forbidden but tempting right? money will be tempting to all until something replaces it.

Yup, and money can't buy hapiness.

KittyCat72
05-10-2007, 04:04 PM
The things that are more tempting are the things people tell you that you can't have, like the forbidden fruit for example. But we're allowed to take the money here. Money is also one of the most tempting things; so I guess forbidden money would be to die for.

Well, I'm talking about...In general..Usually it doesn't...Not supposed to, but okay :).

LiNuX

lol actually u got it backwards - money IS supposed tob uy happyness for all - but it doesnt - thats where the term money cant buy happyness came from - it was put along with the failure of the american dream a while back - no such thing as the american dream - you will never reach it even if it exists.

KittyCat72

Either one can buy happiness. Money just works faster.

It takes a while to make good friends.

I don't agree with that. In my opinion, money could never buy hapiness, but that's just me. Money could change you entirely, the way you act etc.. Sometimes, instead of giving you hapiness, it could take all that away. It all depends I guess..

KittyCat72
05-11-2007, 05:37 PM
I guess your kind of right. But money can buy you stuff that will lead to happiness. Some people feel happy when they see other people happy. I'm sure if I used money to buy a Nintendo Wii and gave it to my brother he would be happy. (whether he has 2 or not)

Oh! I just though of something! All of us should choose friends; otherwise, we wouldn't exist, or at least not be on this site. I don't know about you, but everyone on this site is my friend. I hope it's the other way around too.

....we...wouldn't even know each other...........

Exactly, it all depends on how u define happiness.

So.... some people will be happy while others aren't, even if they have the same thing. Lol, there are so many opinions to consider. :D

I would choose friends over money, I have spent years getting the real friends I have and I wouldn't even trade them out for $5billion, I believe in only having enough money to be happy living and that friends are important. I also prefer to work for my money rather than just get it. I've had no friends before and it's rather depressing.

KittyCat72
07-04-2007, 05:44 PM
If I had the money I would donate some of it. That would really make people like you.

I think iI would have to go with friends.
But it's hard maintainace, but certainly brings fun into ones life.
Money too! lol
But friends are forever, money only until you spend it!

Well, you can always save the money =P You can also lose friends over silly arguements too, I nearly did once, did today actually but he wasn't a real friend and if anyone ever shown their skill they were "trying to be gangsta" so you know.
