Hi there :)

For my final year bachelor project at London Metropolitan University i am looking for online role play gamers, that are willing to fill in a anonymous questionnaire...preferrably people that chose to play the other gender with their character in the game, but in general every response is welcome :)

The projekt is looking at gender swapping in online role play games in relation to personality and a person's sex role.
I would really ask for your help...as it has appeared quite difficult to find participants so far...

The questionnaire will take max 15 min to complete !

as i cant post links, please contact me here or via my email so i can send you the questionnaire :)

if anyone wishes to get their individual results from the personality or the sex role scale back, im more than willing to calculate the scores and send them back individually :)

If you have any questions or concerns please let me know....

thanx in advance...:)

maria

p.s. please let me know if this is the wrong forum...

How about this - if you stick around for a total of 24 hours and then manage to find 9 other things to post about, you're allowed to post a link after that in your threads.

Gaming Reviews - Gamers Forum (http://www.gamers-forum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=67)
Check out the Gaming Review threads for some fun reading?

Forum Talk - Gamers Forum (http://www.gamers-forum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=34)
Maybe some general conversation?

Graphics - Gamers Forum (http://www.gamers-forum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=44)
If you're interested in checking out people's art work and participating?

New Gamers - Gamers Forum (http://www.gamers-forum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=31)
OR! An easy 9 posts would be to just talk a little about yourself and then respond after people are talking to you.

All in all, I think if you did a little participation on the forum instead of just walking in and questioning if people would work with you - if you tried to be apart of the community, I think people would gladly help you out.

I'm interested in the process and the psychology behind it.

She isn't the first to do this, and I don't care if they post for 24 hours or not, it's school and anyone would be glad to help.
Some people just post the questions, other don't. It's all school, and this forum is glad to help another person.
I just don't see why someone who might have to have this done in less than 24 hours has to wait 24 hours? When all they need is some help?
Does your mom ask you to wait 24 hours before she helps you on your math homework when it is due tomorrow?

some others that have done this has followed the rules, got the 10 posts and waited 24 hours, it's not a huge deal and it's not that hard and I highly doubt a college student would wait until the last minute to do research like this since it depends on other people's answers

It's NOT your forum.

Does my mom set up 1.5 pages of rules that are to secure kids?

No?

If she did, would she ALLOW one to slip through - just because it's school related?

My post was friendly enough and you just had to go and douche it up.

GG.

I lol'd.
Whatever. You're one of the biggest hypocrites I've ever seen, most likely THE biggest.

Also, the rules?
LOL.
Says the guy who swears and was talkin' dirty with Jakncoke.

And 90% of your posts aren't friendly, and this one wasn't one of the 10%.

Let's not fill this thread with spam. It was supposed be a thread for her to finish a school project. This defiantly isn't the helping her at all.

So, if you are still looking for participants. PM and I'll give you my email or what ever you need.

No offense, but that's why I wouldn't bother helping.
You're doing it for personal gain and then just bolting.
I have no incentive to assist your education. Lol.

Good luck.

that is harsh...anyway...just your opinion, dont have to help if you dont want...just find your reasons a bit weird...that you have a problem giving me your email, or that it is too long or something i could understand...saying you dont help me because i dont wanna be part of the community and you dont have any intention to do something for my education just sounds ...i dont know...i wouldnt admit it if i were you :D

What separates you from the average penis enlargement spam I get in my email or some stupid survey about some service I don't care about?

Look at it from someone else's point of view. It's selfish.

I don't see this selfish, all they are asking for is some help with a project.
The only one selfish here is you, because you are too busy looking up dirty things online to want to bother with helping someone.

If you can't understand the basic functions of a community then you're not fit to be a mod.
When people come to this community, most of the members put people on a trial run to see how they'll fair and if they'll stick around.
Joining for one goal and then not coming back - and not even trying to show interest in something - even as a false integrity or falsely genuine nature does nothing for this community.

So you tell me where you get off saying that I'm not going to help her because she's not willing to give minor effort in assisting us?

And then tell me how you were ****in' stupid enough to say something like - I don't want to help her because I'm lookin' at porn?

Grow a brain, you nitwit.

Penis enlargement companies are doing it to make money. That's marketing, she doing it for school. Big difference to me, if I was doing a project like that I would want me to help me.

I helped so If you don't want to just don't. It's very simple.

Alright - to settle this idiocy once and for all...

I merely said in my first post that, if she WANTED to be apart of the community, I WOULD BE MORE apt to assist her in her curriculum - however, some random person's education is something at the bottom of my list to care about.

I made the obvious suggestion with links in tow about how she could easily participate in order for more people to join the cause because she's making the effort so that we can help her out.
She believes enough in the assignment that she's willing to put forth an extra 10 minutes tops to make 9 posts. How hard is that?

Instead, the site's sniveling nuisance comes on and harasses me for a simple post that asks some anonymous person to simply participate - even if it would be for 10 posts and then bails, at least she put forth the bare minimum effort to help her own project out.

Now where is the foul in asking the minimum of her for our assistance?!

What you did was fine I think, I'm just talking about arguing back and forth. I agree someone with you, but we all think differently. I do understand the point you are trying to make. Why bother helping someone if they are not going to do anything in return. But, like I said we think different and have different opinions. I also wasn't just trying to talk to you, was telling samus to also stop the arguments.

exo would have helped if the OP followed the rules and earned her way into posting links. There shouldn't be any more problems beyond this post, if you have any issues with this, take it elsewhere.

He just wants my body, that's all.
Got drunk one night and rejected him.
He's all bitter beer face now. D;

And that's all I'm asking.
If she's desperate enough to look for gamers -
she's desperate enough to spend 10 posts to help herself out.

Done.
