Epsilon is one of the moons of either Neptune or Uranus...I always get those 2 mixed up. My earth science teacher told us that and i'm like yooooo sweet word. So i went home and made a Diablo 2 character named Epsilon....buuuuuuuuuut it was already taken. So I threw an X at the end, made it look all spiffeh....and BAM. Everyone started caling me that because it ended up being my best character and the one i used the most.

Funny thing is - the planets have been around a REALLY long time. Between Galelaio or whatever and the Egyptians - the planet names ended up being some really weird shat - but they're all named after Greek Mythology, for the most part.

Actually, the planet names are all in roman mythology. They basically have the same gods, just different names

Roman version = Greek version

Mercury = Hermes
Venus = Aphrodite
Mars = Ares
Earth = N/A
jupiter = Zeus
saturn = Cronus
uranus = N/A
neptune = poseidon
pluto = hades

Uranus is the Greek representation of the sky, Earth (Gaia) is the greek representation of land and stuff.

I had a rogue named Katla when I played paper RPGs. When I rolled my rogue for WoW a few years back, that name was taken. Kat was also taken, Kitty was also taken. I thought about Kitla. Instead I replaced the second t with an e, said it a few times, fell in love with it, and here it is. :D It's cute (to me, anyway) short and easy to remember. Kit is my nickname, and I like that too.

My gaming tribe knows me as Kitey. I love all of them, so if they want to find me, it isn't terribly hard.
