So.

I was wondering what you guys use to clean your games? I here many things like Toothpaste even Banana but the only one I find to work is Pledge.

So what do you guys use. Maybe we can make a game cleaning database

my shirt...

but I usually keep my CDs in pristine conditions when I can so they usually don't get scratchy or dirty - the only time I see those is when I lend the game to someone (I don't like lending out games for that reason)

a game cleaning database? lol..

By game cleaning database I mean a database of cleaning ideas.

a database usually has a lot of things with a query system. you could make your own if you want for this but it could be some work and even harder to get online depending on how you create the db.

have fun.

Wow I must be old school or just a loser. I use my t-shirt most of the time and to clean off my systems I use a sock....:twitcy: What is wrong with me?

Man.

Using your shirt will mess it up so bad. It can will only rub the dirt on it around making more scratches. Not a good idea

and how do you know that?

i mean. if you use a rough cloth to clean it then it'll scratch anything up but most shirts aren't made to be rough...

and CDs aren't that soft either, that they'll be scratched up by a soft cloth

cartridges- the good ol blow trick
cd/dvds- shirt and move it circular motions , if it got scratches I say eff it because it doesn't matter much anymore as I don't own rare games and could easily replace a broken one cheaply
br- just use my shirt, start from the inner whole and work outwards for smudges,I have never scratched a br to this date and hopefully I don't get so wreckless that I cause a first some day

Usually, I blow on them or use the inside of my shirt. Sometimes for N64 games, I find it helpful to wet the tip by licking it or something. It said not to but are games are so old that it actually makes them work better. :-P If I have any disks that get scratched I can fix them with this cd thing I have (wow, I'm very specific); it cleans disks and fixes the scratches.

I usually just run it under some water if it just dusty or a little dirty. Then just dry it with a cloth of some sort. I'm really bad about putting my games back in there case. I have a whole stack of CD's sitting right next to me. No idea where there cases are either.

Yes, I keep my discs in perfect order, however! Some old heavily played discs (Like FFVII & VIII) will show some smudges, so I have a little Disc cleaning set for that!

It looks like a case in which you place your disc, add afew drops of the cleaner to the foam piece and then turn the handle round!

Clean fresh Disc!
