I love The Grudge. And I love Ringu too. And I love the Japanese version of One Missed Call. Same kind of spirit. So this game is going to mess me up pretty badly.

The noise at the end was right out of the Grudge though--I wonder if this game is intended to be a spin off?

a dude on gaf said he counted 5 knockoffs from horror movies, I only caught the the grudge knockoff, but perhaps that's the purpose of the game, like a spoof video game ala spoof movies like epic movie and the such

I counted the Grudge (The sound at the end and the women.) and at one point in the trailer you see a girl and then she's gone. So that could be any number of horror films or games.
