Yea, i used Photoshop for them.
I've never made any SMF themes, so I'm not sure.

Both yours and LiNuX's sigs dont look bad, they are just lacking the use of brushes.
One good thing about both of yours is you both know how to choose good text types and work them in well with your signatures. When i started my text always looked crap, just keep on it and you'll both be pro in no time.

the text in my second sig is custom made, worked with the vertices and just made them lol, made that back in december i believe, havent gotten a chance to practice photoshop lately, with job and school, its tough :) and i only used one type of brush for each, was still learning when i made those
