hey guys lol im caped don't know what to do. not long know tho until normal speed again. tis why i signed up here. any help there ??

Capped means that my internet has been slowed.

my speed erm 1500 when slowed its 256.

........when my speed goes down I unplug my router and plug it back in. Check all my configurations......(do a dns flush an ip release/renew) usually fixes the problem :-). But on those days when the internetz just suck in general....I play ps3 or xbox.

you usually get capped like that when someone is either downloading or upload a bunch of useless crap - usually happens with stuff like limewire. doesn't matter if you're running it or someone else using the same router - stop that stuff and your speed is less likely to cap out

or have and ISP with a really bad cap so that regardless what you do you'll go over, like the many people that have 30-50 gb caps.

the only reason i got capped was because i use torrents teehee.

o.O mmk thanks what do I do when I am capped ?! I play WoW of course, what do I do when I have to install WoW again (As we speak) and then my internet gets stuck ... I watch T.V., sleep, call peps, bother Linux, go to the gym, read ?! ... lol
