I have recently purchased the brand-new Sims3 and I have noticed some bugs ("big surprise") and it is really starting to get frustrating....-_- is anyone else having problems such as:

-Objects becoming invisable while trying to place them in buy mode
-Sims appearing bald when you first play with them or even later on
-Game lagg while changing object colours

Also.... when is EA gunna release the first update/patch?? any news would be great!!!

*feel free to post any bugs you have encountered and if you have found a solution to any!*:confused1:

I've only experienced the last one mentioned. I think their reasoning for making your sims bald is as time goes on is because they are getting old. Or just have a birth deficiency. So that many not be a bug per say, just bad programing.

The Sims 3 lately has been riddled with glitches.

I haven't had any problems with it at all.... Maybe a little lag.. but only when I'm doing something else like rendering when I'm playing the game.... Maybe it's your machine...

My machine is a gaming laptop. It is way more powerful than what is required to play The Sims 3. In fact, I have never had a problem, until The Sims 3 came out with frequent updates. For some reason, after an update, I have to resort to re-installing the game all over again because of some glitch. This time, after playing the game for a certain amount of time, the window just closes, without any prompting window. I re-installed the game, and now my next problem is that I am having trouble re-downloading my downloaded content. When I try to do so, it fails. I contacted EA about this and am waiting for a response.

Hm. No need to get defensive. My laptop was built for gaming too... I never had any issues with the gameplay.. BUT I did have the issue with the downloaded content.. I forgot about that.

I did not mean to come across as defensive. Sorry if I did. Now, you mention you did have an issue with the downloaded content. How long ago was that, and what did you did to resolve it, if you did even? The issue that I am having is when I attempt to redownload the content, an error occurs.
