Logitech G5 Mouse problem

Hey guys!

I just got myself a G15 keyboard and G5 mouse and love them, but the G5 mouse I have a problem.

I always have assigned my left side button(s) on all my past mice as a grenade. Usually just in Call of Duty 4 and World at War. But I can't cook my grenades!!! I hold the button down but my player doesn't hold it and cook it he just throws it away like I just tapped the button.

I have the latest driver version and latest version of SetPoint. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

It's very annoying! I am no good with grenades anymore because I cannot cook them.. :| Anyone know how to fix this?

Hnm. Check your in-game functions.
It isn't a problem with the hardware if it's brand new or recently new and you are having click+hold issues.
What it sounds like, is something that you might need to just do a little button reconfiguration in order to come up with something different.

Computers are stupid. A basic function that is a semi-colon ; off, will never operate unless it's there. If you're missing a back or forward carrot >, < then that means the whole world in coding.

So try changing what button it's bound to.

Bind the key elsewhere.
Restart the whole game. Totally.
And then give it a run.
If it works on that key.
Re-bind it to the left mouse.
Restart the whole game again. Completely. Out then In.
And then give it another whirl.

Could just be a response glitch.

What G5 mouse do you have? Their is one with 2 buttons or 1 button on the side? I also have a G5, mine only has 1 button the the side. Anyway, I went into CoD:WaW to see if I cook cook my grenade using the side button and it works perfectly for me, it lets me cook the grenades. I don't even have set point installed on my computer, I just have the drivers for the mouse. So I'm not sure if it's the mouse you have which could be a different kind than mine or if it's set point that is messing it up.
