Grand Theft Auto IV "Things will be different"

The first trailer released for Grand Theft Auto 4 Trailer, titled "Things will be Different".

The graphics look great and with the RAGE engine being used it will allow for much more fluid character animation. :o
As there are many trademark New York buildings like the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty it is rumored the game will not feature any planes, presumably to avoid having publicity problems when players fly planes into a New York landmark, 9/11-style. :D At least it still has motorcycles. :)

wow GTA: 4? lol wow why make a long wait between 3 and 4. They had vice city, san andreas, then liberty city stories, then vice city stories and now 4. lol but game looks great.

This game will never die as I hope it wont either . I usually get pissed about games lasting forever like FF13 and its side stories are going to last 10 years and Mario has been around for like 25 years and no end in site and theres like 20 games that will be on there 5th or higher game in the franchise before this gen of gaming ends...anyways back to topic this game will sweet after I came down off my rant of it being smaller than San Andreas but the thing is San Andreas had miles well not actually miles but tons of open space GTA 4 will be 5 sections of tightly packed city thats alot of detail , I do hope you can enter more buildings though but anyways the 5 sections will be named Broker aka Brooklyn , Algonquin aka Manhattan , Dukes aka Queens , Bohan aka The Bronx , Alderney aka New Jersey . Statue of Liberty is now the Statue of Happiness. October 16 cant come fast enough.

yea its one of those games, non dying lol, like u said mario and final fantasy. i say pacman too lol, just need one of those and it lives forever. and that game asteroids and tetris. all have those long lifespans. just these with the stories need to be redone and stuff. But still good. i agree that it wont die off that easily.

Also I hope the story is more diverse , IMO past GTA's were like this and got a little too repetitive

Step 1 - Drive To This Location
Step 2 - Shoot or Deliver
Step 3 - Mission Complete

Yea, some missions were repetitive, but there were a lot more missions then just that,
and it's always fun going on killing sprees

Its always repetive, ever since the 3d version of the game came out lol, cuz the first GTA games, they were 2d but they were ok, not as much fun. I got bored with my vice city after a few months lol but i dont know if i should give this one a chance. Dont want to get addicted again.

i agree about it being late also agree with that it wont die, vice city should have been known as IV lol but still, i like the game a lot
