Some are saying he is in a coma but TMZ is saying he died.

We were singing a couple of his songs yesterday at lunch aswell... i wonder how the people who spent hundreds on tickets to go see him are gonna be feeling atm.. depressed and pissed i eould suppose
But yeah, its a major loss to music :(

A lot of people are really upset about this... but it doesn't really affect me much. :/

A lot of you who are "younger" may not feel anything good or bad either way about his death but there are a lot of people out there, my parents and myself included who grew up when MJ really was THEE KING of pop. He has influenced the music business like no other (cept the Beatles) and completely revolutionized what you know call music videos. Before MJ a music vid would be the artist singing into a mic staring at the camera with flashy lights in the background. Thriller, as you all know, shattered what people thought a music video should be.

Back when Elvis died, some absurd amount of people attended his funeral and back in 06 when we lost James Brown, his funeral took something like 18 hours for everyone to come through and say there good byes.

Michael Jackson isn't just a pop culture icon, he's a world reknown icon and will be missed by MILLIONS of people. His personal life aside, he will always be the King of Pop and his death will be remembered for years to come.

wow I was really shocked that this happened
I was just with my friend and we turned on the tv and it said that Michael Jackson had died and I was like aww sad
RIP michael jackson will be missed
