I have a friend who buys whatever game she fancies as soon as it comes out, completes it in the week, then trades it in for yet another new game (though obv. she has to pay a tad bit more). Personally, i find this weird - i get the majority of my games ages after they come out and keep them till... well... i've only ever got rid of games on one occassion. I also rent games which i'm not sure i'll like, wheras she'll buy 'em and trade 'em back if she doesn't like 'em. Both of us will borrow and lend games to friends, but not for keepsies.
So, i'm wondering which of us is more like the norm. Do you buy and trade very frequently or buy less often, but for cheaper, and keep games till they're broken? Or are there radically different methods of which i am unaware?
Cheers

When I buy games, I keep em.
If they're no good, I've usually bought them through a good deal, so I'll lend them to a cousin, if they like it, they keep it.
I don't charge family <:
Though it's not like I've been buying many games lately.. haahaaaa...
I need a job.

I don't think I've ever traded any game I've bought. I always keep 'em, although there are games I've bought which sucked...Maybe I should trade em off.
But otherwise I'll lend em to my friends or family I don't mind.

I keep my games. I only buy games with multi-player otherwise I rent them or if I like the developers I'll buy just for that reason, but I never sell or trade any of my games. it's usually a rip off.

I had a policy of buying games then getting rid of most via trade in or giving away when I bought the next system, but I have changed that policy for 2 reasons. My cousin which I gave around 100 PS1 games to didn't even come close to taking care of them properly and secondly Gamespot gave me 140 or bucks for like 90 games. So now I will keep my games till they stop working.

I have always bought my games
I never really trade them because most of my friends dont really play video games and i dont want to trade them to game stop because they probably wont give me that much money anyways.
Also if i do like the game i bought then I keep playing it over and over and over again.
