Would you call this cheating?

Just came out of a deathmatch on UT3 and i'm quite pissed off. Some people stand and wait at spawning points with flak canons or rocket launchers, so as soon as you spawn SPLAT you die. Spawn, splat, spawn, splat, spawn, splat.... IT'S NOT FAIR. HOW THE SMEG AM I SUPPOSED TO KILL SOMEONE WITH AN ENFORCER IF THEY STAND BEHIND ME AND GET AN INSTANT ****IN KILL.

Would you say that's cheating or it's an extremely good legitimate tactic?

Its not cheating because they aren't actually hacking the game
but its cheap
in halo 3, matchmaking one of the types of games is griftball and one enemy was standing at our base and every time we would respawn we would get thrown in the air because of the gravity hammer.. it was annoying

but i really dont understand ppl like that... dosnt it make you feel alot greater to get some1 with gravity gun + grenade combo in half life 2 (as an exemple) then stand and 1 shot ppl b4 they can do anything?... boring if you ask me

Just what players with no skills do to feel better about themselves. Play on servers that ban spawn camping/killing to avoid getting pissed off.

By definition I would have to say no its not technically cheating. I admit it has to have some skill, I never can sit n wait let alone remember every spawn point.

But my personal opion....Red handed cheating. To me it takes away from how the game is suppose to be played, and that is cheating in my book. Its really a gray area, I would accept camping with a shotty around a corner before I would spawn camping.

i tried it myself but its really hard to take over a base in killzone 2 because they are al in the same room..lol

i do it in battlefield 1943, until my team takes that base and then i gotta find a new spawn spot, i only did it once or twice though.

Its not cheating,cheap kills,cheap person.People do that all the time in TF2.Also glitch alot.Usually i get out of spawn killing,i wonder why u couldn't?

Mm, definitely not cheating.

Server just needs an admin who doesn't allow spawn camping.
Servers I've admined where people spawn kill, I slay them for ever kill they take from spawn.

Which means, statistically - they're losing more points than gaining because of admin kills.

It is a b;tch move, though. Cheap, but meh...

I tried to do it back, but i can never remember where spawn points were and much prefered just running round and shooting.

I suppose it's not cheating (though i like to think it is).

It's not cheating. But extremely annoying, and cheap as hell!
That's why I favorited the server that has a "No Douchbags" rule. Honestly, that is the direct quote.
And, when you are kicked for whatever reason, instead of a "you have disconnected. Reason: kicked" It just says, "No ass-hats allowed!"

I don't feel that its a type of cheating..If you have common sense then you can easily pass through it and definitely win this game.
