Im not certian what it is in english but i'll be reffering to at as "type" (what i mean is dell, acer, etc.)

What kinda computer type whould you prefer for a descent gamer computer, dont care if its a laptop or not. Not too expensive though

There'll only be a limited amounts of types since i'm buying from a certain store (i work there) and it doesn't have all computer types :O xD

Acer
Apple
Asrock
Asus
DeZen
MSI
HP
Lenovo
Shuttle
X-One

*EDIT*

I'd love a response when u have voted describing wether it should be laptop or not, and why its ur choice(s)

for a gaming computer I'd recommend you get one custom made - that way you can make sure the parts you have in the machine are all for gaming - most pre-made computers overprice for the parts anyway.

Yeah I agree with Linux, if you want a decent gaming computer, build it.

Laptops are a pain with gaming.
Gaming built laptops cost a pretty penny and to play comfortably I need a mouse.

Okay well i've never build a computer myself, so is there an instruction on how to, and what stuff a gaming com should have?

I dont know what makes a computer part a "gaming part" ... so i'd need a lot of help here

The place where i was going to buy the com sells individual parts aswell so thats no problem :)

*EDIT*

also putting the computer parts together? i rlly have no idea

you can google that stuff - but if you can't do it, hire someone else to do it

as for "gaming parts" - look for stuff with heatsinks and fans because your computer will get hot when you're trying to play a game - having any kind of RAM without heat spreaders will put the ram card at the risk of just burning out. Same goes for your GPU - Most integrated graphics cards don't come with fans or even heat sinks - so it's always a good idea to get one you can remove easily..

and gaming computers need quite a good amount of power so you need a PSU that can handle the load and won't shut off after a while.

You can basically turn any computer into a gaming one with the right parts - like the CD drive and Hard Drive doesn't even have to make sense - they can be anything - there is no cd player or hdd that will make your gaming experience better - it mostly depends on your RAM, GPU, PSU, and even CPU since most games have a minimum and recommended hardware requirements.

and again if you can't do it yourself - you can always hire someone to do it and depending on where you live, I may be able to help you out as well - my last gaming computer build was just a few days ago and I am putting together a company that builds custom computers for people (for gaming, school, work, etc.) and the service is basically for people that can't do it themselves or need some kind of help with the hardware set up.

A little off topic, but good luck with your company linux!

Thatll be perfect for some people <:
I know a lot of people who use computers all the time but don't really know **** about them. So when they want a new one, they're lost.

If you do decide to buy a pre-built gaming laptop, bear in mind that a majority of them cannot be upgraded, so if games are too high tech to run on your laptop in the future, that's it. You'll have to spend another fortune on another one. Also, most pre-built ones fail at sound quality - as i discovered at my own expense.

Honestly....HP is the best one there because it runs smoother and faster.
Acer's are too small + they don't run fast enough.
Apple....Really? Why did you even put that up there :D

Gaming - Desktop (Lasts longer)
Not Gaming - Laptop (lasts 2-3 years)

you can custom build laptops if you have the money for it - but laptop parts cost more individually than if the whole thing is pre-made which is the sad part - otherwise I've taken several broken laptops and turned them into a few good working laptops by salvaging working parts.

Custom build computers are the best. If you find someone that knows what they are doing. If you can avoid it, dont have them already put together. It helps you learn more about the machine you are using if you have to put it together yourself.

I recommend a mix of AMD, MSI, OCZ, and Western Digital, to beef up your system.
