Help! Not Just anybody!
Help! You know i need someone!
No, but really.
Anyone know any good computer repairing services? I need a new fan and installation, my mom wants to go to geek squad, but i've been hearing alot of bad stuff about them lately. Saying they charge too much and are pretty slow.
Anyone know of any trustworthy repair services?

geeks quad usually charges more because of their "name" - you hear it all over TV and they use it in their pricing.
as for other repair services - You'd have to look locally. I don't know of any other companies with national repairing services like the geek squad - but then again, I never paid attention since I do most of my work - the geek squad name is just all over the place, I've even seen some of their vans around
where do you need a new fan install? if its in the case, you may be able to do it yourself, it's not that hard - probably the easiest to install in any computer because all it needs is a connection to your PSU.

take a picture and show me if you can - unless you mean the CPU fan.
and why do you need a new fan? did the current one stop working? or are you just trying to get something that'll cool the part a bit more?

No, it stopped working.
It just, cut off.
And if you try to turn it on, it just lights up, then shuts down again.

Dudez?
I don't wanna be mean but you really can't change a fan? Its mainly 4 screws and a plugin to your motherboard. If you looked at your fan you could find out how to change it.

not all fans have screws - my case fans have bolts in them which are impossible to take out without breaking them.
but if you can take a pic of what fan it is I may be able to help you out - I still don't know if it's a case fan or a cpu fan or some other fan that you may have installed.

Every fan in my computer (5 fans) is screwed in, if you get the dimensions you could find the size.
The type, I dunno if it matters, lol.
I think it does, so don't trust me on that.

the type of fan? do you mean the size? then yes, the size does matter - case fans are pretty precise - CPU fans today are mostly of the same size (since it connects with the heatsinks or whatever else it may use to connect to the CPU) - GPU fans will be a toughie since they come really attached to it - depending on the card, it may come soldered to the card which would make it hard to get it off unless you know how to melt the solder and extract it and even then finding a replacement will be difficult.
tons of possibilities.

...how do you expect anybody to view that? we don't have access to your hard drive.
upload it to the GF image host or your album and then link it here - what you did just is pretty worthless.
and from the rest of your post it looks like you're looking for a cpu fan.
