Quite possibily the best TV show ever. Just got a tv for my room and have decided to rewatch each and every episode of each season (except for that last 3 parter movie thingie. just didn't live up to expectations). I'm still laughing out loud at parts - it just can't get old.
Kinda hoping i'm not the only one who likes it (or who has even heard of it). I'm pretty sure it's out in America - i may have to look into that. But seriosuly, if you haven't seen it, check it out. Or i'll make ya regret it ;-)
Lister is ****en hillarious, but that kichansky woman kinda ruined the last couple of series imo. Still waiting for the proper movie to come out. I wanna know what happens and if they live after the final episode.
Anybody got any favourite episodes, or any recomendations of shows similar to this?

its a UK show it doesnt come on in the US/CANADA but on 1 channel, i dont really care for it. i dont like english shows

What sorta things do you like? I could take an educated guess that way as to whether you like it or not. Or i could take a completely un-educated guess and see what happens.

That's a bit of a generalisation is it not? I don't really like the majority of british shows (i gave up tv long, long ago. I watch about 4 shows in total now), but some of them really aren't that bad - infact a number of them are really, really good.

I like House, The Big Bang Theory, I'm interested in Fringe, Dexter, Supernatural (seemed okay from the few episodes I watched), OZ (that show's just messed up).

I suppose it has some similariteis to the big bang theory... but not really that close. I'm gonna guess no. Red Dwarf is not nearly as serious as house and dexter and the comedy is radically different. But i haven't met someone who's claimed it's terrible. Everyone i've spoken to has always given it some credit for it's comedy.

Family guy on the other hand is pretty awesome. It's humour can be a little sick on occasion, but it's still good.

Still, red dwarf beats family guy hands down. ( i know a lot of people will disagree, but i don't particularly care. In my world, it wins.)
