So Blitz game studios have announced that they will be releasing a full 3D game in 1080P HD. What do we think ? personally i dont dig it, I cant be botherd wearing those silly glasses and i dont realy care about things popping out of the TV, The 3D glasses comprimises colour quality but they do say they have made it so that it will not make you feel sick ( as some people apparently do ) ... wat do u think ?

Game Title : Invincible Tiger

Invincible Tiger was released last wednesday (Aug 26th) on XBLA was it not?
Also I'd like to point out that technically it's not the first 3D game released as Disney Interactive Studio's 'G-Force' features an anaglyph-based 3-D mode, allowing the player to play though the entire game in 3D, using a set of 3D-glasses that came packaged with the game.

As for my views on a 3D game..
I don't personally lke playing in 3D as the glasses bring on headaches rather quickly.

Sounds like an interesting proposition, but I think it's one of those wait-and-see things though.

Kind of like the game developer making it so you can smell what's happening during the game. If I'm playing the latest COD, do I really want to smell napalm and burning flesh?

Or the game developers that are making the gloves that stimulate your nerves for a sensory experience. For example, bugs crawling on you, an electric feeling, or being cut by a knife.

Like the others said, headaches and nausea and things of that nature would be a problem. I'm prone to motion sickness although I can play all video games just fine and it's gotten less problematic as I've gotten older. I'll definitely give this a try (if the game itself gets good reviews) and see how it goes.

there are certain 3d technologies today that do not cause a headache - go to your movie theater and watch a movie in 3d. They'll give you shaded looking glasses, not red and blue, and they are very comfortable to wear

I think the only game I played with that kind of 3d effect was... Track Mania. And it wasn't really a huge deal. Kinda amusing I guess. But it doesn't make the game...

meh. As long as the games are good. That's all that matters right?

The only big problem I see with 3D games is the fact that they would most likely spend to much time making it 3d and not enough time on actually making a good game.

yeah it basically sounds like "OH LOOK WHAT WE'RE DOING, ITS KIND OF NEW (NOT REALL) AND TOTALLY EXCITING"

As long as it's a good game I suppose..
