Game suggestions.

So, i just picked up ninja gaiden sigma again, a day or so ago. And i suddenly remembered how much i love playing that type of game. In other words, no guns, moveable camera angle, combos, etc. etc. So i went into Game today, to ask for suggestions as to what ps3 games are akin to it. The shop assistant was useless and suggested hundreds of arcarde games, before turning to the shooters (how ninja gaiden and farcry2 are similar i have no idea).
So, any suggestions for a similar type of game? Anything melee based with good graphics and plot.

there isnt any of those games on PS3 but ninja gaiden, which sucked. and you said melee, mini-ninjas is melee, cant help theyre heads dont fly off.

Ninja gaiden sigma 2 is coming out soon, but from the reviews of the demo it's very, very similar to the first one. Think i'll be getting this.

Still not found anything that's close to it. Closest games would be Devil May Cry and Prince of Persia from what i've seen

The God Of War series is always a good fall-back slaughter-fest until another game that you wanna play comes out.

Samurai Warriors 2, Dynasty Warriors, Gundam Dynasty: All hack and slash tactics games.

Heavenly Sword is good.
The new Ninja gaiden is Amazing, and I played it on the 360.(yes they're basically the same game) they've added a lot more **** to it for the PS3 version.

Batman arkham asylum is similar and good.

and assassins creed is good too.

I have, or have played, the majority of the games that you've suggested. (
Prototype, God of War, Heavenly sword and assassins creed.)
I'll check out the others, probably by renting. :) Is dynasty warriors an arcade style game? The only arcade game i play is on the psp, are they better on the ps3 and the like?

All of these are amazing. I used to play Dynasty Warriors non stop.
