Ironically, this poll depicts where the Nation, as a whole, stands on Health Care Reform.

Post above me... You suck.... Whitening products? Psshhhh...
Anyway, back on topic. I wont mention my reasons for why I voted. I really dont believe that by doing this, it will help. There are many reasons this could be very bad in the end.

I won't vote as im not American and don't even know what the proposals are. In Britain though i like having the NHS (Nation Health Service). It has its flaws but works well..i don't really think a nation of America's size could sustain it though.

I voted on I don't support, cause i think it should be free. But I guess that would cost the government money

I voted don't support for a few reasons. One its just not that smart i dont think, i dont want us to end up like canada and wait forever to get treated or checked out. And the bill is so long so not many people have read it. And supposedly it'll let illegal immigrants get as much health care as legals. Cause the bill says illegal immigrants won't be supported by the plan, but it also says i.d. and stuff wont be required, so they cant enforce it. Idk its just all too shady

Exactly... I think it's a good idea. Everyone should be able to go to the doctor when their sick or injured. There may be some people out there who seriously risk their health because they know they won't be able to pay for it and maybe they were fired from their job or something and can't afford insurance. In my opinion, there's plenty of wealth to go around. Why can't some of the people who have plenty or at least enough give a little to help all of us? In the long run, I don't really see how it can hurt us. :/ It will affect the economy, but really, lives are more inportant than the well being of the country. That can be sorted out later...

As a Canadian I can say that it's not that bad.
And it's america's fault cause all the doctors go down for the pay.

well thats exactly why many Americans are a bit indecisive about the healthcare reform. if america gets a similar plan to canada, where will the doctors who want more money go?
Canada's system is ok and the people there dont mind mainly because most Canadians don't talk about politics or whine a lot but in America, there will be many people who would complain and make a big deal if they don't get immediate treatment for a broken nose.
as for the currently proposed bill in the US, i haven't read it yet but i would probably not be in favor of it. however, i do believe that their should be a change in how healthcare is paid for and administered (which is really what this whole issue is about, not actual healthcare).

The doctors who want more money wont go anywhere.
Thas the point
On a more serious tone, I mean really, where would they go? America and Canada are all bff so it's not such a hard thing to go from Canada to America or vice versa, but moving anywhere else, well it's a big step. There's language borders and family, and many other issues that people would have to think about then.
But yeah
we never talk about politics.
ever.
in fact, even the politicians don't talk about it.
A long time ago some dudes set up some systems and they've never changed.
WE JUST ARE. FOREVER.
/sarcasm
We may not talk about it as MUCH
but we do talk about it.
In fact, we talk a lot about American politics as well.
As for whining.
I will restate that everything would be good and dandy if selfishness wasn't such an issue.
It's not like we don't have selfish people either, just toned down perhaps, or less.
Either way I have failed to see any reasonable point that would show me that the healthcare reform is such a bad thing.
I feel I came off a bit harsh but I'm too tired to change my wording and I meant no offence.

that's not likely to happen in this country. It's based on Greed - even from the old railroad era.
I mean...a majority of the people won't be able to tell you the three branches of government, name the last three presidents in office, or how many stars are on the American Flag. It's really sad.
And you'd be surprised how many people don't know where the president lives.
La Casa Blanca...
Thus, a majority of the population here don't understand the positive benefits of universal health care and most of them won't listen due to heavy amounts of ignorance. There are a few with valid arguments, but the difference between the amount of ignorance and common sense on the opposite side of health care is just too far apart. And the level of Greed and selfishness is sky high.
And Obama is being a chicken (or a cat...) by not being aggressive with this plan - he's the president and he certainly has the power to force the bill through but he's not doing it and it's weak. Republicans will use this against him when he runs for reelection. Nobody wants a weak president. I should be president...I always get the job done. +5GFP for everyone that votes for me. Win-Win

We need to do something! Healthcare costs are out of control!
Absolutely and I think Obama is trying to do great things despite having to work so hard to get it through House Senate

Politically I've always been a fan of socialism in the first place. CEO's and Vice presidents who make billions upon billions of dollars and keep their work-force at minimum wage is a little intolerable. Any method that actually equals out the population and in turn makes changes for the betterment of society (especially in the med-care) I will always agree with.
Call me a god-less communist. I don/t care
