WET Demo

Anyone played it?
I went to my cousin's last night and they had it.

I ended up cleaning for my aunt's party mostly, but I did get to play it for a few minutes.


The slow-mo stuff is pretty cool, it's bloody, the sword is fun.
Everything's good but I'd say that the graphics aren't exactly up to par. The scenery's pretty good though. Mostly it's just the characters that seemed to have lacked a certain graphical finesse~ if you will.. <:
The movements were done pretty well though, nice to watch.

I've been told I have to get it. Reason - I am Rubi's double in appearance and persoanlity apparently.

Seriously though, it looks quite good. I'd quite like to play a kick-ass female who doesn't look like she came from a porno shoot. I don't really play any games with a slo-mo feature, so it'd be new thing for me to play with - therefore shouldn't get boring which is what the majority of people are worried about. The price is a bit :s though. I may try it out before buying - see if it's worth the money.

Oh, I played it! It was kick ass!

The demo was awesome! In one level you jump from car to car on a highway, chasing after some criminal who killed another criminal, stealing drugs and drug money (sounds cliché).

The developers of the game are not well known, but that does not matter, because the game was made well. Is it a game I might buy? Possibly. But I have some high standards when it comes to shooter games. I might buy this once the price drops to around $20-30.

I saw a preview for this at E3, it didn't look to appealing. I went to a friends that had the demo.... I was shocked. They fixed some of the sliding through walls and stuff, it actually looks like a decent game. It ranks a buy over rent on my list.

I checked it out 2 days ago from work, played it and beat in about 5 hours. I'll be doing a video review soon on my youtube account but I'll just sum it up right here:

gameplay is 5 hours,
action gets Waaaayyy~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ too repetitive waaay to quickly. Enter room, kill guys, enter next room, kill guys, enter room, kill some guys.
You remember in the demo the room where you had to shut off the gates and then kill all the doods. Yeah...I lost count how many times you have to do that.

There's a total of 3 (COUNT EM) 3 major Q.T.E. sequences

EDIT: Also it tries too hard to be a prince of persia-esque platformer but without the precise controls. Also I absolutely hate you people keep referring this to being a Quentin Tarantino-esque experience.

Q.T: long movies, with epic plot, with awesome witty characters, smart dialouge, and intense action
WET: short game, with barely a plot, with mediocre characters and even worse dialouge, and bland action



DESPITE all the negatives.....it is......fun to pick-up and play. I would definetly say RENT the game...but don't buy it until it drops to about....oh......30 bawks.

not worth $60 to me but when the price drops low enuff itll be fine. definitely worth a rent tho
