Pre-ordering

How often do you guys pre-order?
I can only remember having pre-ordered something once. I tend to wait till the reviews are out and get it cheaper. But often, pre-ordering comes with some awesome extras, which means you've got to balance the extras to the possibility of the game being horrible. (I can't help but think that the game is more likely to be a fail, so i don't pre-order)

i usually only preorder if its a game i intensely desire, and it comes with a pre order bonus

the only game ive ever preordered was MGS4 collectors edition

I never pre-ordered a game - even if I really really really wanted a game - I waited and there are tons of game stores around me, one place or another was bound to have the game even if it was sold out in most places. So i never bothered pre-ordering.

I pre order if I know that game will be good.
Especially now days they give you some cool exclusive stuff for pre ordering

Never. Only thing I do over here in Saudi is I tell the guy @ the shop to reserve one for me then I get it on the release date.

You don't need to pre-order or turn up at a midnight launch ... There's always loads the day after and usually for cheaper !

I do on the games I know I plan on buying on the first day, especially the big titles (metal gear solid, final fantasy, etc.)

It also depends on the bonus.

Really, I can only recall 3 or so games that I pre-ordered.

Either I buy a game on impulse, or I wait until the price drops and buy it off eBay or Half.com.

I pre-ordered Call of Duty 4 and WaW for the pc. uhhh GT-4 Was also pre-ordered.

I ony pre-order games that I plan on playing a lot, or have played the prequels to them. I have pre-ordered a game in awhile though, WaW was the last time.

When I pre-ordered it, I gave them $5 and they reserved a copy for me until i could get it.

I remember asking if I could pre-order Pokemon Diamond back in 2007 I believe, he said he would.. But never did.

I never pre-order games i just go out and get them like soon after they are released and usually I am able to get a copy of the game
so i never ever pre order

When a game really strikes my fancy, Ill pre-order. For example Modern Warfare 2 and Bad Company 2. Those will be my next games that I pre-order (soonish).

I Pre-ordered Guitar Hero: Van Halen.

It was free so not much to complain about there.

Only remember preording a few games...Twilight Princess with my Wii, Wind Waker too i think.

I don't pre-order....don't see the need to. I even got all of the downloadable stuff for Dragon Age: Origins without pre-ordering.
