View Full Version : GF L4D Game Night (Campaign or. Vs. or Survivor )

We've had game nights for Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Source, so I thought, why not have a night where we play Left 4 Dead (PC Only) with other gamers from this forum. I will be available to make a scheduled game after my midterms which end in about 2-3 weeks and it's good to plan things out ahead of time so we all know when to come.

If you are interested in playing a game, just reply back with what kind of game (Campaign, Vs. or Survivor) along with the Map (Dead air, no mercy, crash course, etc.).

Here are my picks:

1. Versus
2. Dead Air

Note: Campaign & Survivor are 4 player games, if we cannot get enough people for a versus, one of the two will be picked.

I also posted here instead of the GF Servers board because our Server can only handle Campaign maps - it can't handle Versus games due to bandwidth restrictions from my ISP. So it's most likely that we will be playing on a random server if it's a Versus game.

I look forward to playing a game with you.

just 3 people interested? i know more people plays the game on this forum since I've played with quite a few.

There is still no date set for this. I'm thinking, 2 weekends from now?

so we have 5 interested now - if we can get 3 more we could get a versus game going, otherwise we'll just make the lobby a public one and get some random people to play with us.

I'm thinking next saturday (Oct 24th) if everyone is available - I don't want to do it the saturday after since it's Halloween and a lot of people will have plans already.

Let me know if anyone else has an alternate suggestion on time/date.

This coming Sat will be fine and a 8 GF or 4 GF group should be just fine, Anything before 2 pm or after 8 Eastern PM will be fine for me.

I'm still up for this tomorrow night if everybody else is ready - since I'm officially done with midterms (not counting all due papers) - I don't have much to do tomorrow night. And most likely around 8-9PM EST for me as well.

Do we have a GF Steam group?
Might consider it if we're going to be having game nights much.
it would be an easy way to keep track of us all and quickly invite all of us to a game "Event"

confusion happens when games are available for multiple consoles. I'm bad at FPS games on consoles so most of my shooters are on the pc.
