Sacred 2 is supposed to be pretty good. Takes 6 hours to walk from one end of the map to the other. Neverwinter nights is quite good for freedom, but the graphics are terrible compared to what we have now.
Assassins creed may interest you. It's not exactly the same, but you've listed some of my favourite games so I figured you may enjoy this.
Nothing else is coming to mind atm. Hope that helped

I agree with RaiDae, Sacred 2 and NWN are good. The original Fable is good as well. I would say Fable 2 but it hasnt come out of PC yet.

I totally forgot about Fable. I was absaloutely raging when it was announced that it wasn't coming out for any of the consoles I own.

How's abouts Mirrors Edge? Good graphics, bits of fighting but mostly just running and combos. We seem to agree on games, so you may like it.

Well, if you are interested in a pay to play MMORPG you can get a lot of freedom out of a game I play called Ryzom. The game is science fiction based so it is a little bit like KOTR or Fallout 3. The graphics are pretty good but I do not know if they are what you are looking for. You should check out the screen shots on their website...if you are into pay to play MMORPGs at all...and see if that suits you. Hope this helps!

My game is a PC game only. The thread is in my signature but I'm not sure you would enjoy it. It's realistic and you have input on the stories but it's a Non-Combat RPG. There is fighting but you are indirectly involved.

cleril, are you only here to plug your rpg in random places?

anyways, grand theft auto games are pretty open world. i reccomend gta4.

uh...........

i heard demons souls is pretty open, but its for ps3.

maybe you should try the earlier elder scrolls game. oblivion has 16 real miles of terrain, elder scrolls 2 has about 5000 miles.

He asked for a game recommendation of a game with player freedom and choices. Haven is such a game. Am I not to recommend it simply because I am making it? I'm not being random in the slightest.

Am I here for that? Partly.

If you've played Assassin's Creed, then you should try Assassin's Creed 2. More freedom, and better graphics than the first one.
