The LA Angels swept the Boston Red Sox earlier today in a horrific comeback in the last few innings. And just a few minutes ago, the Yankees swept the Minnesota Twins in a 4-1 win. These two winners will be facing off starting this coming Friday.

I saw both games and I'm glad the Yankees won. On the other hand, I thought the red sox were going to win because they had a pretty big lead but after a few screw-ups, their dreams of making it to the American League Championship Series is over.

On the other side, the LA Dodgers Swept the St. Louis Cardinals and they will be either facing the Rockies or the Phillies.

Anyone else watching the Post season? I haven't watched baseball post season for the past 2 years because Yankees have been screwing up but this season they have kept me interested. I hope they go into the world series and wins.

Anyone else have (had) their favorite team in the post season?

I hope the yankees get beat by someone, anyone!

lol, guess we are on opposite sides of the table on this one

The Yankees offensive line-up has been very strong this season, they will be hard to beat on the offensive end. And their pitching is also very good. They have Petite back and CC Sabathia has crazy good pitches. I don't think any one else left in the payoffs have a chance if the yankees keep on doing what they've been doing, but they have been disappointed before so there is always that possibility.

But I'm rooting for them.

And...twins did great this year. I didn't think they were going to catch up to the tigers let alone beat them in game 163. But I think that their franchise has never won a post season game, I'm not sure if I'm confusing them with another team though.
