Good evening, ladies and gentlemen.
We are tonight's entertainment! I only have one question.
Where are your signatures?

That's right, SOTW is back along with the new found passion of our gfx artists.. So in the great words of Marvin Gaye...
Let's Get It On!


-Entry dimensions must not exceed either 500x200 or 200x500. Anything larger than that and it will just be thrown out with the trash!
- Proof is a must! Either a screenshot of the layers or send the PSD to me. No proof and it's the trash can for your attempt!
- Flash sigs are a no aswell. By all means enter a GIF sig but please no flash!
- It's Freestyle time baby!! This is where we see what people can really do!


Just as before, there will be only 6 entries available so grab those spots quickly.

why is it a vertical sig? dimensions 500x200...

I know, but if we limit the sigs to being just straight sigs, it kinda defeats the idea of freestyle.. I figured it would be ok having vert sigs, so long as they didn't exceed 200x500.

alright, you're the boss on this one - but you might want to edit the rules you have in the opening post - that's why I pointed it out in the first place. Not the first time we've seen vertical sigs in SOTWs.

@daka - if you want to edit the image and post that url in there then it's fine, but we won't be advertising for him with a hard backlink from our SOTW.

The author of the original deviation contacted me today and allowed me use of his picture. But I do need to attach his link somewhere near the sig.

I love his work and may be doing more from his art in the future.

1. change your sig - our sig rules are still there - max 500x200 pixels

2. if you alter the image then the image is yours

3. how can he claim he owns the character in the image?

Yea, Verts mess up the resolution.
I'm not a fan of them, so just make sure to Heads Up Linux next time you think you'll enter verts, he didn't like it last time.

If the vert sigs are going to be a problem then we won't have them in SOTWs..
Saying that, we'll allow this one in but in future SOTW's only Horizontal sig are allowed with the stated dimensions of w500 x h200.

I'm going to try to get an entry in by tomorrow night - Haven't touched photoshop since classes started up for me a few months ago - hopefully I can find some time tonight or tomorrow night since I have the day off.
