Advise Needed for Assassin's Creed II

Hey guys, well Assassin's Creed II has gotten my attention so I went to my local GameStop to pre-order it for the PC. My plan was $30 on AC II and then $10/$10 on the 2 L4D2 copies I had. BUT when I was talking to my Gamestop buddy he tells me that Assassin's Creed II isn't coming out til March 14th for the PC ! That sucks ! Now should I buy the 360 and get AC II within the next few weeks or just wait for it to come out for PC ? No other game has captivated me as Assassin's Creed did. So in your opinion will it be worth it ? I am dying to play this game !

that's a long wait. You still have more than 5 months - the 360 price may go down by then but buying a console for one game may not be worth it. But if you have the money to spend, then getting the 360 would be ok. Otherwise stick with what you have without spending too much money on games, and save up for necessities.

I was thinking of just buying the 1st one for PC play it and then judge on to get AC2 either for PC or for the 360 if I buy em. 360 can also work as a DvD right ? And multi player so I can have friends play ><

yea that could work, and yeah dvd, and I think it's only a 2 player co-op mode online, so you can only have a friend play with you, not friendss :)

I could be wrong, don't know if I'm thinking of AC or another game.

Yeah I was talking in general if I get other multiplayer games like Halo or something. But I just went to Game Stop to get a copy of AC and they say I can get it on Steam since they stop making hard copies for the PC. =/
