MSN Error

I'm having a serious problem with MSN Live Messenger 2009.

Since the day I got it back from re-formatting it was not able to run Windows Live Messenger 2009. So I've been using 2008 for quiet a while now. Today I wanted to sign in but they said that I HAVE to install 2009 which I did.

Unfortunately I'm unable to sign in and I get the following error.

Communication Error Platform
AppName: wlcomm.exe AppVer: 14.0.8098.930 ModName: cvasds0.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 000306ba

I tried looking for a solution online but I can't seem to find any :/ I tried reinstalling of course but, no luck.

Maybe you guys have more luck than me.

Start - All Programs - Windows Blinds - Run windows blinds
under settings, choose per application
add per application setting (its a button)
Locate: c:\program files\windows live\contacts
choose wlcomm.exe
check mark: ignore this application and do not skin it
click OK
under windows blinds, apply settings, exit live, and reopen, enjoy!

Yeah I saw that one Linux and did that and it didnt help :/

But it works for some reason xD

I re-installed AVG anti virus 9.0 and it healed some viruses so I think it's cuz of that :D
