Well, I no longer play but things to keep in mind:

You will get stalked, oh well.

You will meet beggars.

You will be called a "Nub, noob, noobletm newb, newbie" and so on.

You will get bored...

In fact, the best tip I have is to not play it and instead go play something else....like a game in my signature...or something.

I don't play anymore, kinda wish I could go back to the days when it was fun.

Anyway Stick with one skill don't jump around and work on all the skills at once, set a goal for one and get there before switching to another.

Join a good clan, it will make your playing time more enjoyable.

try to max ur professions- they will bring u good money in the long run once u start selling stuff in the trading house. be careful of the pvp areas- the people wont always be kind when ur a lower lvl. and do all free quests you can- they will help you in the long run
